In Social Studies, we will continue with our culture unit. We have discussed the basics of culture: elements of culture, definition of culture, the family, religion, language and we will continue this week with the government and economics in culture. We will finish up our study next week and there will be a quiz over culture on TUESDAY, Dec. 8th. We will review the text features of non-fiction as well before winter break to understand the many ways that non-fiction is presented for comprehension....cause/effect, compare/contrast. fact/opinion, sequenced.
